Will your giraffe be one in a million?
So far I've got 566 136 giraffes, so I need 433 864 more and I have 325 days left.
Let's show Jørgen how amazing the internet is.
That's about 2 339 giraffes per day and if we can keep that average I will have one million on the 13th of August 2010.
But based on the last week's giraffe count I will have one million on the 24th of August 2010.
I have 325 days left to reach one million, which means I need about 1 335 giraffes every day to make it!
Fun fact: The average age of the contributors to this project is 24.4 years old.
This graph shows you how many giraffes I've gotten for each week since the project started 243 days ago.
The red line indicates the average amount of giraffes needed per week (12 324) to reach one million before 2011.
This table shows you the exact number of giraffes I've gotten on the individual days.
You'll only see the two latest weeks here now, but if you , you'll see all the days since I started.
Fun fact: I have rejected 11 271 giraffes because they were made on a computer or sent in twice.
Another fun fact: The most giraffes I've gotten in one day was on day 165 of the project (22nd of November) when I got 15 713 giraffes.
These barometers show how far we've come in the timeline for the project.
We want the one on the left to hit the green field before the one on the right hit the red field!
This graph shows you how much the collection has grown over the 243 days it's been online
